NIC volleyball completes CSI tourney at 5-2

The North Idaho College volleyball team won two of three matches Saturday to complete the College of Southern Idaho tournament with a 5-2 record.

NIC opened the day with a 2-0 decision over Eastern Utah, then beat Northwest College 2-0, before falling to Southern Idaho 2-0.

Men’s soccer

Garga Caserta scored one goal and assisted on another as NIC opened its season with a 2-2 tie versus Highline CC at Walla Walla.

Women’s soccer

Kristen Kendall, Alicia Ward and Jari Petrie scored goals to give North Idaho a 3-2 non-conference, season-opening win over Lower Columbia CC at Walla Walla.
