Start compiling your receipts now to see if it makes sense for you to itemize on your 2004 tax return, experts say. Only about a third of tax filers itemize, meaning lots of people might be missing out on tax savings. It’s especially important for Washington residents this year because of a change that allows them to deduct sales taxes.
