Coeur d’Alene used free throws Tuesday night to remain undefeated in Inland Empire League girls basketball play.

The Vikings shot 20 of 30 from the line to hold off the host Trojans 58-50 at Post Falls.

Ali Johnson and Lindsey Stark had 14 and 12 points, respectively, to lead Coeur d’Alene (6-1 overall, 3-0 in league).

The Trojans, winless in league, got 16 points from Jenny McVeigh. Mackenzie Sinclair added nine points and seven rebounds.

Lake City 49, Sandpoint 48: The Timberwolves scored with 12 seconds left to earn the IEL win at Sandpoint. The Bulldogs rallied in the fourth quarter, outscoring Lake City 18-12 down the stretch. Breanna Sande’s 11 points led Lake City. Elle Carne led all scorers with 14 points for Sandpoint. … Timberlake 56, Clark Fork 32: Lynsie Powers tossed in 24 points at Clark Fork to lead the Tigers to a non-league win. Timberlake opened the game with a 17-2 run through the first quarter and never looked back. … Deer Park 58, Kellogg 37: Deer Park built a 10-point lead in the first half during a non-league win at home. Laura Gibson and Kaytee Clough each tossed in 14 points to lead the Stags. Cami Wendt’s 18 led Kellogg. … Wallace 67, Post Falls Christian 30: The Miners rolled to an easy victory at home behind Lisa Carver’s 20 points, six steals and six rebounds. Cara Hayman added a half dozen points, four steals and seven assists in the North Star League showdown.

Priest River 43, Lakeland 42: Geoff Gregory buried a 3-pointer with 11 seconds left to secure a home-court, non-league win for the Spartans over the Hawks. Gregory finished with a team-high 11 points, with Jeremy Patterson adding six points – all on fourth-quarter 3-pointers. Ben Ward’s 17 points led the Hawks. … Deer Park 72, Kellogg 69: Lance Selle and Kevin McNeil combined to hit 10 of 14 shots from beyond the 3-point arc to lead the Stags to a win at home. Selle, who was 6 for 8 on long-distance shots, finished with 20 points to lead the Stags. McNeil finished with 18.
