Mention preseason rankings around a coach and the response will focus on finishing in the rankings, not starting there. In WashingtonPreps.com’s preseason poll, Riverside’s girls are No. 3 in 2A. The Rams finished the regular season 19-1 last year, only to drop two in the GNL tourney. They return New Mexico-bound post Angela Hartill and second-team all-GNL Britney Paul. Hartill had 18 points Saturday in the Rams’ 49-43 win over Lakeland.
