“A Christmas Carol” The one-act play onstage at the Lake City Playhouse, 1320 E. Garden Ave. today, 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Additional shows Dec. 16-19. Buy Fresh, Buy Local Roundtable Discussions The expansion of the Inland Northwest Buy Fresh, Buy Local campaign and how to involve more members of the community in the University of Idaho’s cultivating-success courses and apprenticeships. Farmers, ranchers, chefs, natural food store owners, grocers, etc. are urged to attend the discussions Thursday, 1-5 p.m., at the UI Harbor Center in Coeur d’Alene. A Support of Each Other and Our Troops Reception in the Aurora Room of the University of Idaho Commons at 5 p.m. Materials will be provided to write letters and finalize care packages for deployed soldiers, which will be an ongoing project by the ASUI Civic Engagement Board and UI residence halls.
