Alzheimer’s Association, Inland Northwest Chapter – Volunteers are needed to provide information and referrals to callers coping with dementia-related issues. Contact Joel at 483-5456 or e-mail joel.loiacono@alz.org.

Page Ahead, Spokane – The Net School, a school for high school students to catch up with their grade levels, needs volunteers to help students with questions, grading, filing and other tasks. Call Sarah at 789-3548.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program – Volunteers or teams volunteers are needed to lead and instruct residents to crochet and knit for Project Warmup, a program that provides gloves and caps to low-income people during the winter. Call Karen at 344-7787, ext. 161.

The Salvation Army – Volunteers are needed to sort food and process donations on a weekly basis. Call Judy at 325-6821.
