Two substantial donations gave the Christmas Fund a much-needed boost today, bumping the fund total to $281,829.41, ever closer to the $500,000 goal needed to help local families.

As they have for a number of years, the owners and employees of Travis Pattern & Foundry gave a big donation to the Christmas Fund, this year sending a $25,000 check.

“The owners and employees of Travis Pattern & Foundry again wish to donate the funds that we would have spent on a Christmas party to your fund,” wrote president Travis Garske. “We are very pleased to enclose a check in the amount of $25,000.
