In need of new markets to conquer, wireless telephone companies are releasing special phones and services geared toward teens, who once were snubbed as lousy customers.

Unlike the services pitched to their parents, however, which rely on long service contracts, teens are targeted with prepaid plans, stylish phones and extras tied to the lifestyles and likes of young people.
