Get your strawberries, raspberries and cherries at the markets this week. Some markets are reporting apricots. The first of the root veggies are starting to appear. Look for carrots and beets. Peas, garlic, cucumbers (for slicing and pickling) and zucchini are also available at some markets. Bedding plants are still plentiful if you’re still planting the garden or sprucing up the flower beds.
