Movie fan allegedly robs video store
BREMERTON — A 37-year-old man with a fondness for the movie “Rob Roy” has been arrested, accused of robbing a video store.
A man asked a clerk at Total Video if “Rob Roy” was available Monday, a police report said. After the clerk retrieved the video, the man pulled out a gun and took $200 from the cash register. The clerk called 911.
A detective recognized the man from the description of the robber and stopped him.
Police reports said the man was identified by the clerk; store records showed he had recently rented “Rob Roy.”
