Baseball

Sign up: American Legion Baseball and the Warehouse Baseball Academy will start the American Legion winter workouts with the Bandits organization on Nov. 17, the Northstars on Nov. 18, the Cannons on Nov. 22 and the Blue Devils on Nov. 23. All workouts will be at the Warehouse at N. 800 Hamilton. Cost is $100 per player. All Legion baseball players are welcome. Call Sean Flikke at 484-2461 for times and more information.

Dodgeball

Sign up: Register by Nov. 16 for Spokane County Parks and Recreation Turkey Bowl Dodgeball Tournament on Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per team. Info: 477-4732 or www.spokanecounty.org/parks /data/recreation.asp.

Skiing/Snowboarding

Nov. 22-Dec. 16: Preseason ski/snowboard conditioning class offered at U-District Physical Therapy for ages 10 and older. Sessions are Monday and Thursday from 6-7 p.m. Cost is $80 for eight group sessions. Info: Brian at 458-7686.

Volleyball

Continuing: Downtown Spokane YMCA master’s swimming welcomes all levels and meets every Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $22 per month for non-members, free for members.
