LC rebounds, defeats Capital

Lake City rebounded from its opening-game loss Friday with a 54-30 win over visiting Capital on Saturday. Richelle Fenenbock and Georgia Burke each scored 16 points for the Timberwolves. Amy Lawson and Kristi Tuntland collected seven rebounds apiece. Lake City lost its opener to Borah, 61-46.

Kellogg 60, Kootenai 23

The Wildcats jumped out to a 21-9 first-quarter lead and never looked back in their win at Kootenai.
