Celebrity fashion show will benefit Hope House
Hope House, formerly the Downtown Women’s Shelter, will host its sixth annual Celebrity Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Doubletree Hotel, 322 N. Spokane Falls Court.
Friday’s event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. is a benefit the programs of Hope House, an emergency shelter through Volunteers of American that offers beds to homeless single women.
Fashions will be provided by Chico’s, Moose Lake, David’s Bridal, Mr. Tux, The Reclothery and the Volunteers of America Thrift Store.
Celebrity models include representatives from the serial murder task force, The Spokesman-Review, STAR 96.9 radio, local television stations, the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture, and basketball players from Eastern Washington University. Debra Wilde of KXLY will be the mistress of ceremonies.
Tickets are $35 each, or $280 for a table of eight. Call 624-2378 for more information.

Five cans of food on Tuesday will earn you a spinal manipulation at Central Chiropractic, 20 W. Central Ave.
Jay and Kevin from Cat Country 94 FM will be on hand accepting food donations for Second Harvest Food Bank from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
