NEW FACES

Keller Williams Realty in Spokane has recently hired Cris Salsbury as an agent. Salsbury has 25 years of experience in marketing and public relations.

OneEighty Networks, a Spokane-based telecommunications company, has recently hired Molly Renner as the general manager of its Bend, Ore. Office. Renner has over 14 years of telecommunications experience where she specialized in sales, marketing and product development.

State National Bank has recently hired Lorilei Bruggink as its chief operating officer. She has 19 years of branch banking experience and was previously the chief retail officer at another Spokane bank.

Glenn Alfaro has been hired as an agent at Farmers Insurance and has opened a new office on the South Hill. Alfaro previously worked as the general manager at Ryerson Steel.

Whiterunkle Associates has hired Matthew Allen as an account coordinator. Allen previously worked as an intern at Whiterunkle and holds a business degree from Eastern Washington University.

Cyndee Reeves has been hired as the office manager at U-District Physical Therapy and Institute of Sports Performance. Reeves has over 20 years of experience in medical offices.

Wells Fargo Bank has hired Tinah Kromoff as the manager of its Coeur d’Alene store. Kromoff has over 15 years of experience as a branch manager and a senior loan officer in Arizona and California.

Greg Lambert has been hired at Washington Trust Bank Investment Services as an investment officer. Lambert holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and has more than seven years of related experience.

RenCorp has hired Gary Lauerman as a primary architect. He has almost 20 years of experience in commercial, residential, institutional and historic renovation and is a member of the Spokane Preservation Architects.

Jon Hawley has been hired at RenCorp as a project manager. Hawley has 25 years of experience in residential and commercial construction estimating and in project management.

RenCorp has hired Patricia Sampson as a real estate specialist. Sampson has experience in property management, construction, residential real estate and investment properties.

PROMOTED

Tom Nakano has been promoted by Northwest Farm Credit Services to chief financial officer. Nakano has been with the company since 1992 and has worked in various lending and support positions.

Wells Fargo Bank has promoted Kay Curry to manager of the Lakeland branch in Rathdrum, Idaho. Curry has over 26 years of experience in financial services and has been recognized often by Wells Fargo as one of its top sales and service employees.

Robyn Todd has been promoted to catering sales manager at the Doubletree Spokane City Center Hotel. Todd has been with the hotel since 2003.

The Doubletree Spokane City Center Hotel has promoted Russell MacKenzie to banquet manager. He has worked at the hotel since 2003 and has held positions as a banquet server and banquet captain.

Jamie Olson has been promoted to vice president and business banking relationship manager of the Coeur d’Alene Business Banking Group of Wells Fargo Bank. Olson has been with the bank since 1990 and is a graduate of Lewis-Clark State College.

The Fairwinds-Northpointe Retirement Community has promoted John Renner to general manager. Renner has been with the company since 2000 and has over 26 years of experience in the retirement industry.

ELECTED

Gordon Budke has been elected to a second term as the chairman of Eastern Washington University’s Board of Trustees. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from EWU in 1963 and worked for 17 years as a managing partner at the accountancy firm of Coopers & Lybrand.

The Gonzaga University Board of Trustees has elected Scott Morris to serve on the board. Morris is a senior vice president at Avista Corp. and earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Gonzaga.

The North Idaho College Foundation has elected its board of directors for 2004-2005. The officers are: president, Dick Sams of Wells Fargo Bank; immediate past president Sue Thilo of the North Idaho Board of Education; vice president/president elect, Jim Thorpe of Thorco Inc.; secretary Michael Burke, who is also the NIC president; and treasurer Rick Maxey of Magnuson, McHugh and Company.

KUDOS

Collins Sprague of Avista Corp. has been awarded the Heavy Lifter Award from the Association of Washington Business for his contributions to the organization.

The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education has awarded accreditation to the Washington State University Intercollegiate College of Nursing’s baccalaureate and master’s programs.

NEW BUSINESS

Reema and Robert Shaver are opening Bistango, a martini lounge at 108 N. Post St. The lounge, which opens in January, will serve drinks and appetizers.

Stylists Sarah Picicci and Mandi Koohns have opened Salon Dolce at 9421 N. Newport Highway. The salon specializes in haircuts, color, highlights and face waxing. The salon can be reached at 467-8219.

Loft, White and Mount, a law office in Spokane, has joined the offices of Witherspoon, Kelley Davenport & Toole.

RETIRING

Robert Gardner has announced his retirement from the boards of directors of both AmericanWest Bancorp. and its subsidiary, AmericanWest Bank.
