Spokane County Commission
9 a.m., Tuesday, weekly meeting with the county’s CEO, Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway Ave. The agenda includes a planned aquatics facility in North Spokane County.
2 p.m., weekly meeting on non-hearing items, lower level, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave.
5 p.m., meeting on hearing items including several traffic revisions.
Spokane Valley City Council
Study session, 6 p.m., Tuesday, City Hall, 11707 E. Sprague Ave. Public comment will be taken on the proposed 6 percent utility tax and the proposed increase in the storm water fee. Valleyfest will make a presentation; and the committee reviewing library proposals and the city’s staff will recommend to the council acontractor for the library contract. Public comment won’t be taken on Valleyfest or the library, but citizens will have the opportunity to speak at the Nov. 9 meeting, when the council is expected to award the library contract.

Spokane County Planning Commission
Thursday, 9 a.m., conference room 2B, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave. The agenda includes deliberations on the 2004 annual Comprehensive Plan amendments.
