Politics not appreciated

Rich Landers’ column (Oct. 28, “Voters, beware …”) was a totally inappropriate abuse of his privilege as a sports columnist.

When I turn to the sports page, I do it partially to get away from this kind of stuff. I couldn’t care less about your political viewpoint. If I want to read this kind of stuff, I turn to the opinion page, not the sports page.

I’m a reasonably intelligent, college-educated person who is interested in fly fishing, fly tying, college sports and the Mariners. I don’t need you to advise me how to vote.

Stick to your knitting, Rich, or The S-R may lose another subscriber.
