New Age duo at Arbor Crest

Grammy-winning New Age artists Tingstad and Rumbel come to the Arbor Crest Wine Cellars for a concert tonight at 6.

The Puget Sound-based duo features Eric Tingstad on guitar and Nancy Rumbel on such instruments as oboe, English horn and ocarina. Last year they won a Grammy for best New Age album for their 14th release, “Acoustic Garden.” They currently are working on their third Christmas album, which will be a combination of new tracks and previously released material.

Tickets for tonight’s concert are $15, available through Arbor Crest (927-9463) and the Vino wine shop (838-1229). Those attending must be 21 or older. Picnics and lawn chairs are welcome, but no outside alcohol.

The winery is located at 4705 N. Fruithill Road in the Spokane Valley.
