Power outage planned Tuesday in Deer Park

Deer Park residents will lose electricity briefly next week as Avista Utilities de-energizes the Deer Park Substation.

The interruption will allow Bonneville Power Administration crews to work on a transmission upgrade project. The power will go out for five minutes at 1 p.m. Tuesday and for five minutes at 8:30 a.m. next Thursday.
