The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

• Single mother with one child needs potty-chair, training pants (for 2-year-old), toddler bed, pots and pans, and dishes. Contact Toni at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.

• Low-income family with three children needs a vacuum, dressers and towels. Contact Toni at American Indian Community Center, 535-0886.

• Low-income families need diapers, all sizes. Contact Margarita at Summit View Apartments, 324-9161.

• Mother and daughter in homeless program need a dresser. Contact Jill at SNAP Homeless, 456-7106, ext. 109.

• Homeless woman needs bike, helmet and lock. Contact Patty at Women’s Hearth, 455-4249

• Single mom with two children needs canning jars, lids, kettle and other supplies. Contact Linda at Partners with Families and Children, 879-6918.

• Single mom with four children needs a washing machine. Contact John at Partners with Families and Children, 473-4833.

• Single mom and two children need oven with stove top. Contact Janeen at New Hope Resource Center, 467-2900.
