Hotel, attraction packages benefit travelers
When hotels team with attractions, travelers benefit.
Chicago’s Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel ( www.millenniumhotels.com, 866-866-8086) has a Jacqueline Kennedy package that includes accommodations, tickets to the Jacqueline Kennedy exhibit at the Field Museum and a $25 Marshall Field’s gift certificate. From Nov. 12 through Dec. 11, the package is from $169; from Dec. 12 through April 1, it starts at $149.
Santa Monica’s Georgian Hotel ( www.georgianhotel.com, 800-538-8147) has a Cruisin’ The California Coast package that provides two lodging nights, breakfast, a car rental, valet parking, lunch, a dinner cruise and gifts. It’s available through Nov. 21 for $650, a savings of $227.
Or head for Monterey County and discounts, deals and offers. Book a Holiday Bounty room at a participating hotel for a stay from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31 and receive certificates for free gifts and discounts, as well as a $25 certificate valid at area restaurants, wineries, golf courses, attractions and shops.
The Wyndham Boston ( www.wyndham.com, 877-999-3223) has a $189 Family Fun package. You get a suite and choice of four aquarium or children’s museum tickets, soda and popcorn, an hour of PlayStation or a movie, breakfast and late checkout.
Louisville, Ky., also has new packages. Through Oct. 24, the Family Adventure Extreme package, priced from $216, includes accommodations and four tickets to the zoo, science center, Louisville Slugger Museum, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, the Speed Art Museum and the Kentucky Derby Museum.
