Tonight at 8 on NBC, Tom Brokaw hosts a two-hour “Dateline” that explores the incredible story of Aron Ralston.

You may not remember the name, but you’ll remember the story.

Ralston was hiking by himself in a remote canyon earlier this year when his arm became trapped under a boulder.

Yup. This is the guy who cut off his own arm in order to survive.

For the show, Ralston and Brokaw visit the site of the amazing, horrifying incident — the first time Ralston has been back.

And we’ll also see some of the farewell videos Ralston recorded when he thought his story would end there.

Ralston is also on Letterman tonight with Drew Barrymore.
