Senior forward Chrissy Smalley assisted on the first goal and scored the final one as Mt. Spokane posted a 3-0 win at Cheney in a meeting of undefeated Greater Spokane League girls soccer teams.

Ashley Imes and Tiara Pittman also scored for the Wildcats (3-0, 2-0). Cheney (3-1, 1-1) held Mt. Spokane scoreless for the final 65 minutes.

Elsewhere in the league, Jennifer McKinsey scored off a corner kick at 8 minutes and Central Valley (3-1, 1-1) held on for a 1-0 win at North Central. The Indians (3-1, 1-1) lost goalkeeper Brianna Scott to a knee injury right before the goal. … Kirsten Bafus set up the first goal and scored two minutes later from 18 yards out as Ferris (3-0, 2-0) notched a 2-1 win at East Valley (1-2, 0-2). On her assist, Bafus, from the left side, found Stephanie Rubright moving up the middle, for a score from 12 yards. Naomi Varney scored late in the first half for the Knights, on a sliding kick to the low far post. … Abby Goss beat a defender and scored from 16 yards on a 1-on-1 play, giving University (4-0, 2-0) a 3-2 win over host Lewis and Clark (0-3, 0-2) at Hart Field. U-Hi’s Tonya Schnibbe scored twice off free kicks. … Jaimey Etten had one goal and one assist during the first 20 minutes to launch Mead (1-2, 1-1) to a 4-0 win over visiting West Valley (2-2, 0-2). On the second goal, Marissa Mykines fed a corner kick to Etten, who passed it back to Mykines for an 18-yard shot to the far post. … Marisa Poorboy totaled one goal and two assists during the final 50 minutes as Gonzaga Prep (2-0-1, 2-0) posted a 5-0 win over visiting Rogers (0-3, 0-2).
