Northwest Fence robbed

A Spokane Valley company had thousands of dollars of tools stolen over the weekend.

Northwest Fence Co., 14817 E. Sprague Ave., had welders, paint, saws, extension cords and hand tools stolen, according to a press release from the Spokane Valley Police Department.

The thief apparently cut through a chain-link fence on the east side of the yard and broke into toolboxes on a truck parked inside.

Employees discovered the theft Saturday, but it was not reported until Monday.

The same business was recently vandalized in a separate incident, as well.
