There’s a movement afoot to bring fashion to floors.

Flooring manufacturers are rolling out new options at a record pace, and homeowners now have five to 10 times more choices in floor coverings than they had 15 years ago. From exotic woods to granite and marble to leather and cork, the idea is to get consumers thinking about their flooring as fashion, not function.
