WhiteRunkle has hired Brian Fountaine as a copywriter. He previously freelanced for the company and has written copy for American Idol. He attended Spokane Falls Community College and Western Washington University.

Melissa Wells has been hired at the Post Falls real estate office of Century 21 Beutler & Associates as an agent. Wells previously worked at Charles Schwab & Co.

Yoke’s Fresh Market has hired Carrie Nottingham as a graphic production artist. She has over five years of experience in art direction and graphic design and is a graduate of North Texas University.

Brad Lucas has been hired at U.S. Products in Coeur d’Alene as the western regional manager. Lucas has more than 20 years of sales management experience and is a graduate of Drexel University.

Cancer Care Northwest has hired Deborah Brown as a radiation therapist. She previously worked at Sacred Heart Medical Center and has worked as a certified radiological technician for 10 years.

Tracy Emch has been hired at Cancer Care Northwest as a registered nurse in the clinical services department. She previously worked at Deaconess Medical Center and has 15 years of nursing experience.

Home By Design has hired Steven Swayne as chief financial officer. He was previously operations manager and area director for a nondenominational Christian youth services organization. Swayne is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College with a degree in history and psychology.

Jennifer Fortune of Evergreen Realty has earned her license as an associate broker. She specializes in real estate on Schweitzer Mountain.

Shawn Powell, third manager at the Yoke’s Fresh Market in Mead, has been named Employee of the Year. He has been with the company for over nine years.

Hair Etc., 1004 E. Francis, has recently celebrated 30 years of business. The hair salon opened on April 1, 1975.

Keli Kepler of Coeur d’Alene has earned her chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. She completed five years of study and graduated with honors.

ICM Asset Management has received a 2005 Standards & Poor’s Separately Managed Account Award.

Banner Bank has announced the 2005 Banner’s Best awards for its employees in the Pacific Northwest. The local winners are Cajer Neely, manager of the Spokane Commercial Banking Center and Ray Schmitt, a commercial loan officer in the Spokane Commercial Banking Center.

DaimlerChrysler has named Dishman Dodge, Washington state’s largest Dodge dealer, to its 2004 Chargers Club. The club honors the top 100 Five-Star Dodge dealers nationwide.

The Washington State Department of Community, Trade and Economic Development has awarded Cort Johnson and Gladding McBean the Valerie Sivinski Award for Historic Rehabilitation, for their work on the Spokane Legion Building.

Paul Hirzel, a faculty member at the Washington State University School of Architecture and Construction Management, has received the American Institute of Architects’ Housing Committee Award for a customer’s single-family home. He received this award for his design of the Canyon House outside of Lewiston.

YFA Connections has awarded Cerium Networks of Spokane with the 2004 Roger Emerson Award for its outstanding community service. Cerium helped YFA purchase, install and train on new telephone and messaging equipment.

PROMOTED

Linda Seghetti Moholt has been promoted at Sterling Savings Bank to assistant vice president and field marketing manager. She has been with the bank for two years and is a graduate of Gonzaga University.

Ron McKay, a senior vice president at Global Credit Union, has been chosen to head up the expansion of the credit union in the Tri-Cities. He has been with the credit union for eight years.

Colmac Industries in Colville, Wash. has promoted Jeff Hughes to productions and operations manager. He has been with the company since 1989 and previously worked as a Colmac service technician.
