Author signing ‘Huckleberry Delights’

For those who haven’t already started to dream about huckleberry season, here’s your excuse: Local cookbook author Karen Jean Matsko Hood will be signing her Huckleberry Delights cookbook on Saturday at Auntie’s Bookstore, 402 W. Main St.

The book is 320 pages and is packed with huckleberry recipes, poetry, history and folklore. Matsko Hood will sign books from 12:30 to 2 p.m. She lives in the Spokane Valley and has written several cookbooks, children’s books and poetry.
