Taking advantage of a fantastic location, a five-story “combination” building is planned for a three-acre parcel south of Days Inn and set up from Northwest Boulevard, Coeur d’Alene.

“Combination” is nearly as integral a word in this case as location. Of course, it’s hard to beat a 180-degree downhill view of the Spokane River and Lake Coeur d’Alene to the south with easy access to Interstate 90, downtown Coeur d’Alene, the Riverstone Development and the Ironwood medical community.

This 57,000-square-foot RiverView Tower will combine professional offices and residences with options of leases or ownership of condominium spaces. Two levels of underground parking will anchor four floors of offices topped by a penthouse floor. Office spaces may range from 300 square feet to an entire floor of 10,000 square feet. The residence floor may be from one to four places.

Primarily constructed of brick and glass, the building will have a 650-square-foot conference room at the ground level for the use of all occupants. Construction should start this year and be completed in 2006.

RiverView Tower is being marketed by Ryan Nipp of Parkwood Business Properties, which is owned by Charlie Nipp and Steve Meyer, both of Idaho vintage. Phone 667-4086.

Stone store changes owners

Granite products are 95 percent of the business of Bella Marble & Granite just north of Interstate 90 on the east side of Post Falls.

New owner Wayne Pignolet said a renewed focus on customer service is the objective of the 22 stone artisans, who include sales people, decorators, fabricators and installers. They design, cut and install custom countertops, enclosures, tables, shelving, stairs and railings. Originally from Willoughby, Ohio, Pignolet came to Idaho last fall from Annapolis, Md. He has several years of home construction experience. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, 10 to 3 Saturdays and by appointment. Phone 762-8200.

Minute Press to Seltice Way

Doubling in size and gaining needed parking spaces, International Minute Press moved from 101 Ironwood in Coeur d’Alene to 6491 E. Seltice Way (across from Shawn Montee Lumber). Many years ago the building was a rest stop for what then was Highway 10.

Now in 3,000 square feet, the seven employees of the 7-year-old business print fliers, business cards and stationery, and do digital and graphic design work. Owner Mark Henkel came from San Jose, Calif., three years ago.

Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Phone 765-6258.
