Semi driver killed in I-90 accident

Associated Press

The driver was killed Wednesday when his tractor-trailer rig drifted off eastbound Interstate 90 and overturned in the median Wednesday.

The driver was identified by the State Patrol as Troy Alan Tuttle, 30, of Yakima.

The truck was near Sprague, Wash., when it drifted off the highway and the driver apparently overcorrected, patrol Sgt. Lee Slemp said.

One eastbound lane was closed most of the day while the accident was investigated and crews cleaned up the load of spilled liter-sized soft drink bottles.

No one else was injured.
