Have you ever been the mother of the bride – or groom? Do you have the photos to prove it?

We’re honoring that rite of passage this Mother’s Day. It’s the day you realize you’re no longer the lovely center of attention, but the woman with the long to-do list and the bifocals in the background.

We’ll have it all: the stress, the budget-busters, the awful beige dresses.

But we also want to include a photo album page of local wedding party moms, and we’d like a photo from you, too. Please send it to Mother of the Bride, Features Department, The Spokesman-Review, P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA 99210. Please write your name, address and phone number on the back, and enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for its return.

Also please include the names of the bride and groom and the date and location of the wedding.
