Christ the Savior Orthodox plans Easter events

By The Spokesman-Review

Members of Christ the Savior Orthodox Church will celebrate their first Easter together today and Sunday. The Orthodox Church follows a different calendar than western churches, so Easter falls on a different weekend.

The main Easter service will begin at 11 p.m. today. The solemn service will be followed by a meal and celebration.

The Gospel will be read in several different languages during a special service at 2 p.m. Sunday. An Easter egg hunt for the children will follow. The church is at 16th Avenue and Pines Road.
