Leachman Eye Institute opens on Mullan Road
Eyes became Michael Leachman’s focus when he was in third grade and his parents suspected he was near sighted.
After a series of “Can you see that?” questions, they took him to get his vision checked. The result was a pair of glasses that gave him a new outlook.
Many years later, as an ophthalmologist, he helps those with vision loss.
“Eyes are really interesting to me. I’ve always felt like it’s a field where you can really make a difference in a person’s life,” said Leachman.
The eye physician and surgeon recently opened a full-service clinic in Spokane Valley. His business offers a full range of services, including exams, contacts and eyeglasses, as well as glaucoma treatment and cataract surgery.
“I want to provide good, quality, up-to-date service,” he said. “I just try to treat people like I like to be treated.”
Leachman Eye Institute serves children ages 3 or 4 on up, adults and seniors. It’s in Mullan Centre II at 1420 N. Mullan Road, Suite 100.
