TROIKA expects good crowd for 25th event

The silver anniversary of the TROIKA triathlon begins at 7 a.m. on Sunday at Medical Lake’s Waterfront Park.

More than 250 people are set to compete in this year’s edition, which begins with a 1.2-mile swim in Medical Lake, continues with a 56-mile bike ride winding to Riverfront Park and finishes with a 13.1-mile run on the Centennial Trail, finishing at the Forestry Pavilion in Riverfront Park.
