No Magic for Orlando

Tim Duncan had 26 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, Tony Parker added 20 points, and visiting San Antonio beat Orlando 110-85.

Duncan and Rasho Nesterovic frustrated Orlando’s Dwight Howard, who had a double-double by halftime but shot just 4 of 18 from the field. He finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds.

It was the fourth straight win for the Spurs and fourth consecutive loss for the Magic.

Clippers 99, Heat 89: Elton Brand scored a season-high 37 points and added 12 rebounds, and Los Angeles pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat visiting Miami in a matchup of division leaders.

Sam Cassell added 18 points and 13 assists for the Clippers, who have won two straight and remain atop the Pacific Division.

Dwyane Wade scored 29 points for the Heat, the Southeast Division leaders despite losing two in a row.

Mavericks 102, Bulls 94: Dirk Nowitzki tied his season high with 35 points as visiting Dallas held off Chicago.

Devin Harris finished with 13 points, a career-high 10 assists and tied a career best with five steals. Marquis Daniels added 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and Adrian Griffin delivered season highs with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Timberwolves 91, Jazz 77: Eddie Griffin had 14 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high eight blocks, and Wally Szczerbiak scored 26 points to lead Minnesota past host Utah.

Kevin Garnett added 21 points and four assists as Minnesota won for the eighth time in 10 games, sweeping back-to-back games in Sacramento and Utah to improve to 10-6.
