Camps for Kids – The Northeast Spokane Kiwanis Club hosts its annual event to raise money to send kids to camp, 6:30 a.m. Friday at the Spokane Club, 1002 W. Riverside. The Christmas breakfast also includes entertainment and a raffle. Tickets are $25, reservations are required; 466-0216.

AmeriCorps – This group is offering on-the-job training in the housing construction industry to those ages 18-25. The group is also looking for tutors for at-risk high school students and a volunteer coordinator/trainer, 18 years or older, to provide activities for AmeriCorp members; 456-7660.
