International film festival gets rolling

The Spokane International Film Festival brings a sample of the best global cinema to River Park Square Cinemas today for eight nights of films.

The festival of 15 features and eight shorts kicks off tonight with an 8 p.m. screening of the Indian film “Hari Om” and an appearance by director Bharatbala.
