NEW FACES

Telect Inc. has hired Kelly Anderson as a senior accounts receivable clerk. Anderson previously worked at Mirage Manufacturing in Florida.

Liz Collier has been hired as vice president of private banking at the Spokane office of Sterling Savings Bank. She previously worked as a vice president and business banker at Wells Fargo and has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry.

Century 21 Beutler & Associates has hired Joel Pearl as an agent. Pearl holds a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University and previously worked in sales and marketing at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course.

Doug Landwehr has been hired at Century 21 Beutler & Associates as an agent. He has many years of experience in the real estate industry and has been involved with land developments.

Century 21 Beutler & Associates has hired Steve Hill as an agent in the company’s commercial division. Hill has over 30 years of experience in real estate development and marketing and recently moved to the area from Honolulu.

Deborah Walter has been hired at U.S. Bank Home Mortgage as a loan processor. She has 27 years of experience in the mortgage industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Whitworth College.

Holy Family Hospital has hired Dr. Michael Puruckherr at the North Spokane Pulmonary Clinic. Puruckherr earned his medical degree at Phillips Universitat in Marburg, Germany and is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.

Kathy Barnard has been hired as a media relations specialist at Washington State University’s College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences. She has more than 13 years of experience in media relations and previously worked at the University of Idaho. Barnard holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Idaho.

ConoverBond Development has hired James Mellott as creative/marketing director. Mellott previously worked as a producer for Knowledge Kids Network and was an associate producer and project manager at the Walt Disney Company.

Terrance McKanna has been hired as a sales associate in the Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate. McKanna previously worked as an appraisal assistant at Master Appraisal Service.

The Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Suzette Rose as a sales associate. Rose previously owned the Hula Hut Grill.

PROMOTED

Mike Bissell has been promoted to a principal at the law firm of Dunn & Black. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho and his law degree from the University of Washington. He specializes in civil litigation.

Telect Inc. has promoted Audrey Bizzell to inside sales manager. Bizzell has been with the company for almost eight years and previously worked as an inside sales manager.

Pat Wardian has been promoted to district manager for the National Association for the Self-Employed. He helps small businesses and the self-employed with business benefits and health insurance.

Potlatch Corp. has promoted Christopher Eckel to vice president of human resources. Eckel has been with the company since 1978 and has worked in several different positions.

KUDOS

The Inland Northwest Blood Center has given its Employee of the Year Award to Dawn Beusch. She is a licensed practical nurse who works as a collection specialist. Beusch has been with the center for over seven years.

Jackie Wright has been named Employee of the Year at Spokane Teachers Credit Union. She works as the credit union’s business development manager and has worked there for over two years.

ELECTED/APPOINTED

Jim Paras, president of Paras General Contractors, has been elected as president of the board of directors of Inland Northwest Associated General Contractors.

Donald Livingstone has been appointed to the board of American West Bancorp. He is a professor at the Marriot School of Business at Brigham Young University.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest has elected its officers of the board of directors. They are: Stan Parrish of Sterling Savings Bank, president; Jack Lucas of TicketsWest/WestCoast Hospitality, president-elect; Scott McGann of Payne Financial Group, immediate past president and vice president, gaming; Lee Fish, vice president personnel and benefits; Diana Cote-Smith, vice president program; Bill Stanley of KSPS, vice president public relations; Diana Riggins of Riggins Enterprises, secretary; and Sheri Pritchard of Heiskell MacGillivary & Associates, treasurer.
