“All in The Timing” Continues today with curtain time at 2 p.m. at the Lake City Playhouse. This is a Black Box production directed by Lee Ja Junker and is intended for mature audiences. Cost: $7. Sparkling Spur Youth Writing Contest Entries are being accepted for the contest from all North Idaho students in grades 4-12. Students may enter short stories with an American West theme. All entries must be unpublished and original. Enter at www.westernwriters.org/youthwritingcontest.htm.

Art on the Green Poster Contest The entry deadline is March 21 for the poster contest sponsored by the Citizen’s Council for the Arts. The poster will promote the 37th annual Art on the Green, Aug. 5-7. For more information, visit artonthegreen.org. “Understanding Food Labels” The University of Idaho Extension Nutrition Program, a community based education program is offering free weekly classes to recipients of food stamps or other Health and Welfare programs. This class will be held Monday from noon-1 p.m. at the Health and Welfare Office, 1120 Ironwood Drive. Children can participate in Story Book Nutrition with hands-on activities.
