Kootenai Humane Society workers never know what will greet them when they arrive at the shelter. One October morning it was a box of four kittens, including Sancho Z. He has the face of a bandit, half white and half tabby. He’s spent the last two months in a small cage with a brother. Shelter workers hope someone will adopt them together so they can play. They like to bat a ball between them and are litterbox-trained. Sancho Z is independent and would probably do fine left alone with a playmate during the day. Visit him at Kootenai Humane Society at 11650 N. Ramsey Road in Hayden Lake, or call 772-4019.
