Benefit blues fest planned Saturday

Tap your feet, kick back, and relax to the sound of blues while supporting local Spokane environmental groups on Saturday.

The 2005 Green and Blues Fest will be held at the Bluz at the Bend, 2721 N. Market St., from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Tickets are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door, and will benefit the Lands Council, KYRS Radio, Futurewise, and S.H.A.W.L. (Saving our Health, Air, Water, and Land) Society.

Along with the environmental information available, the evening will include music performed by Lindell Reason, The Parchmen, Waukon, Riverside Rythmn & Bluez Review, and Pap Glenn’s Border Run Blues Band.
