Summer meals

The Spokesman-Review

The Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls school districts are participating in the summer food service program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability. The program will run through Aug. 19 at the following schools and times.

Coeur d’Alene

Borah Elementary – 632 Borah Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m.; lunch 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Fernan Elementary – 520 N. 21st St., breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m.; and 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Hayden Meadows Elementary – 900 Hayden Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8 a.m and 8:15-9 a..m.; lunch from 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Ramsey Elementary – 1351 W. Kathleen Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m.; lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Sorensen Elementary – Ninth St. and Coeur d’Alene Ave., breakfast from 8:30-9 a.m.; lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Project CDA – 725 Hazel Ave., breakfast from 7:30-8:15 a.m.; lunch 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Lunch menu for July 18-21.

Monday – Chili crispito, jicama and sweet potato sticks, watermelon, milk.

Tuesday – Peanut butter and jelly uncrustable, carrots, banana, animal crackers, milk.

Wednesday – Chicken nuggets, fries, celery, cantaloupe, fruit snack, milk.

Thursday – Pepperoni pizza, salad, pineapple, milk.

Friday – Cheese yummy, tuna salad, green beans, grapes, milk.

Post Falls

Frederick Post Elementary – 205 W. Mullan Ave., breakfast from 8-9 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Post Falls Middle School – 301 E. 16th Ave., breakfast, 8-9 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Post Falls High School – 2832 E. Poleline Road, breakfast, 7:15-8:15 a.m.; lunch 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Monday – Burrito, veggies and fruits, milk.

Tuesday – Chicken sandwich, veggies and fruit, Curious George snack, milk.

Wednesday – Breadsticks with sauce, salad, fruit, milk.

Thursday – Pizza pocket, veggies and fruit, milk.

Friday – Fish sandwich, veggies and fruit, milk.
