George Hideg has been hired as an architect at Denny Christianson & Associates, Architects. He received a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Washington and has five years of experience.

Washington Outpatient Rehabilitation has hired Tami Weil as director of occupational therapy. She previously worked at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute and has 13 years of experience as an occupational therapist.

Dyer Davis has been hired as a sales associate in the North Wall office of Windermere Real Estate. He previously worked as associate creative director at Mervyn’s.

AmericanWest Bank has hired Diane Kelleher as executive vice president and chief financial officer. She has over 20 years of banking experience and previously worked at Washington Mutual.

Ken Hunt has been hired as a home mortgage consultant at Wells Fargo Bank. He has over twenty years of experience in residential and construction lending and previously worked at Washington Trust Bank.

Design Source Inc. has hired Gloria Walund Saunders. She previously worked at Northwest Architectural Company and at Rehler Vaughn and Koone Architects in Texas.

Chad Hutson has been hired as business development manager at Enterprising Capital. He has over 12 years of experience in marketing, public relations and business development and previously worked at Inland Northwest Health Services, Spokane County and ConoverBond Development.

OneEighty Networks has hired Shelly Mills as an account manager. She has seven years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has worked at Columbia Fiber Telecom, Avista Communications and Tel-West Communications.

Rob Davila has been rehired at Century 21 Premier Service. Davila was previously stationed in the Philippines in the Air Force and has been a licensed real estate agent since 1995.

Sara Schmelzer has been hired as the recruitment specialist at the North Idaho College Admissions office. She is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and previously was coordinator of the Study Abroad program and international recruitment at EWU.

The Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Roger Hudlow as a sales associate. He was previously a manufacturing technician at Hewlett Packard.

Jay Lazanis has been hired as a sales associate in the Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate. He was previously a locomotive engineer at Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railway.

Gritman Medical Center has hired Camille Croft as a public relations and marketing specialist. She was previously a reporter at KIFI in Idaho Falls and is a graduate of Brigham Young University-Idaho.

PROMOTED

Tom Blue has been promoted to assistant vice president at Marsh, Spokane. He specializes in property and casualty risk consulting.

Wheatland Bank has promoted Nicole Grier to vice president. She is the bank’s marketing director and has been with the company for two years.

Sarah Taylor has been promoted at Desautel Hege Communications to account coordinator. She was previously an account assistant and has been with the company since January, 2004.

Sysco Food Services of Spokane has promoted Layton Rosencrance to president and chief executive officer. He previously served the company as general manager and has been with the company since 1995.

Gonzaga University has promoted the following associate professors to full professors: Shann Ferch, doctoral program in leadership studies; Paul De Palma, math and computer science; Lynn Daggett, law school; Max Capobianchi, mechanical engineering; and Allan Greer, physics.

KUDOS

Joe Nipper, an Edward Jones investment representative in Hayden, has received the A.F. McKenzie Achievement Award for outstanding sales and service over the past year.

WestCoast Hospitality Corp. and Red Lion Hotels have received the 2005 Community Service Award from the Association of Washington Business. The companies received this award for its community service programs, Hospital CARE’s Program and the Caring for Others In Need (COIN) Fund.

The Northwest Minority Business Council has recognized Macy’s as the Regional Corporation of the Year 2005 for its service in supplier diversity.

Sherry Krulitz, manager of the Whispering Pines Elderly Housing Complex in Pinehurst, Idaho, has received the U.S.D.A. Rural Development office’s Site Manager of the Year Award for Idaho. Krulitz has been managing the complex for 18 years.

Dr. Paul Lin has received the 2005 VNA Physician Partner Award for providing remarkable service and support for VNA Home Health Care Services. Lin works at Surgical Specialists of Spokane.

GIFTS

The Allstate Foundation has awarded grants to organizations on behalf of Allstate employees who volunteer their time. Kahale Rogan of Liberty Lake received a $500 grant to donate to the Liberty Lake chapter of the Kiwanis International Foundation, and Roger Duval of Spokane received a $500 grant to donate to the Post Falls High School debate team.

Mercedes-Benz of Spokane was one of seven dealerships that contributed to fundraising events in the area. The funds raised will benefit Mercedes-Benz USA Drive Your Future Scholarship Program.

Davide Trezzi has opened The Barn on Trezzi Farm, a company that specializes in community catering at 17700 N. Dunn Rd., Green Bluff. The company offers fundraising opportunities by offering its services to nonprofit organizations and was previously located in Sonoma, Calif. The Italian-food caterers can be reached at 238-2276.
