Mapping service adds 2 counties

Sentry Dynamics Inc., of Post Falls, has added Spokane County and Ada County, in Idaho, to its property information and mapping service, called geoAdvantage.

The company launched the Geographic Information Systems service a year ago focusing on Kootenai County. Sentry Dynamics said it will roll out geoAdvantage for 10 additional counties by the end of the year.

The Internet-based service is targeted toward government offices and the real estate industry.

“Smaller communities have had limited access to property information and mapping services and we believe they will benefit most,” Sentry Dynamics CEO Jack Sjostrom said in a prepared statement.

The company, which is based at the University of Idaho Research Park, employs six people full and part time.

Bolivia trip offered

Rotary clubs in the Inland Northwest are looking for four young professionals for an all-expenses-paid business exchange program to Bolivia in the spring.

The program is offered through Rotary International. Those chosen will spend a month in Bolivia, from April 8 to May 6, learning about the customs and vocational practices of that country.

Rotary will pay airfare for the exchange and Rotary club members in Bolivia will host the Northwest visitors throughout their stay. Applicants must be between the ages of 25 and 40, be employed full time and have worked in that profession for two years. They also must live in the Rotary district that encompasses northeastern Washington, North Idaho and southeastern British Columbia.
