Starting a business is a leap of faith for any entrepreneur, but especially so for those younger than 25.

Only 1 percent of all business owners fall into that age category, according to the U.S. Census.

Still, a number of young entrepreneurs locally say they’re making it. One calls himself a 20-year-old in a 40-year-old’s world.
