Meet your neighbor

Name: Richard and Dianne Drake

Age: 62 and 58, respectively

Hometown: Scottsdale, Ariz. They spend four months of the year at their summer home on Echo Bay, on the east side of Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Family: Their son, Adam, 30, who lives in Arizona, and daughter, Colleen, who lives in Boston with her husband. The Drakes have no grandchildren, just a granddog.

Both of their children will be visiting in August.

Hobbies: Golf, boating and traveling. They just got back from a family vacation in Ireland. Richard enjoys hunting and fishing, and went duck and dove hunting in Nicaragua this past January.

Favorite eats: The Wine Cellar is their favorite restaurant. They also enjoy barbecuing steaks and ribs at home.

Favorite thing about North Idaho: The people, whom they consider very friendly.
