Occupation: Part-time English instructor at North Idaho College.

Family: Daughter, Saba, age 6, and mom, Theresa Potts

Pets: Pearl, a 14-year-old black Lab, and Annie, an 8-year-old cat.

Hobbies: Photography, gardening, hiking, cooking, running Saba around.

Favorite foods: Victoria loves chocolate and simply-made country French or Italian cooking.

What she likes best about North Idaho: The outdoors. That is what keeps her here.

Plans for summer: She is working on her master’s thesis on English as a second language and developmental education as ideal teaching practices.

She is also working on a literature project as a student, learning to incorporate more literature in her teaching. Victoria is teaching fundamentals for writing this summer.
