Free art camp with human rights focus has space available
Room is still available for children wanting to attend a free summer art camp.
Art on the Edge runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 11-15 at the Human Rights Education Institute, the former electric railroad battery building neighboring Coeur d’Alene’s City Park.
The camp is open to children ages 6 to 12 and will focus on the theme of human rights.
Participants will create flags “based on human rights principles,” according to a press release. The flags will be displayed outside the Human Rights Education Institute.
