Tech Q&A
Q: My laptop says I’m in range of Wi-Fi hot spots, but how do I connect to them using Windows XP?
A: Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon in your taskbar and click View Available Wireless Networks. The Wireless Network Connection dialog box will list available networks. Select a network and click Connect. The network’s connection status will change to Acquiring Network Address. When it connects, close the Wireless Network Connection window and start surfing.
