Pac-10 honors Powell, Pickler

Darion Powell and Julie Pickler of Washington State University were named the Pacific-10 Conference track and field athletes of the week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Powell captured the Pac-10 decathlon crown with a career-best total of 7,531 points, while Pickler won the heptathlon with a career-best 5,569 points.
