Larsen sets RBI mark in Huskies victory
Senior Kyle Larsen broke the Washington career runs batted in record Tuesday night as the Husky baseball team broke Lewis-Clark State’s 15-game winning streak with a 4-2 win over the Warriors at Husky Ballpark.
Larsen broke the record with a two-run homer in the fourth. That home run gave him 168 career runs batted in, breaking the school record of 166, set by former shortstop Kevin Miller (1996-98).
Rowing
Pacific-10 Conference runner-up Washington was one of 12 teams that was extended an invitation to compete at the 2005 NCAA Women’s Rowing Championships, May 27-29 at Lake Natoma in Rancho Cordova, Calif.
