Share your holiday stories, photographs

The Spokesman-Review

Holidays are not always picture perfect. They are hectic, stressful and messy. But they also are a time to reflect, share and laugh with family and friends we sometimes see only once a year. And often, memories made during the holidays provide stories that enlighten us for a lifetime.

To help celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday this year we’re looking for Spokane County residents who would like to share Thanksgiving memories with us. We’ll publish selected essays in the Nov. 24 edition of the North, South and Valley Voices.

If you think you’ve got a great story to tell, please write up to 250 words and send them to sarale@spokesman.com or by mail to Sara Leaming, The Spokesman-Review, 13208 E. Sprague Ave., Spokane, WA 99216. Essays also can be dropped off at the above address Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Essays should be received by Nov. 18. If you have photographs, please let us know. We might publish those, too.
